TeRa

Terms of Service

In effect since 7 October 2026

These Terms govern the use of the TeRa app and service, run by Prima Interaktif (“we”). By creating an account or using TeRa you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TeRa.

What TeRa is

TeRa is an app for receiving messages from businesses you deal with, such as a restaurant or a building manager: points, receipts, bills, notices and offers. Messages are sent to your WhatsApp number by that business and appear in your TeRa inbox.

TeRa only delivers messages. Points, prices, offers, bills and anything else a message mentions are between you and the business that sent it.

Account

  • Your account is tied to a WhatsApp number. To sign in, you send one WhatsApp message with a one-time code to our number.
  • Do not send that sign-in message because someone else asked you to. Anyone who persuades you to send it can sign in to the account for your number on their device.
  • You are responsible for the use of your account from devices you allow. The list of signed-in devices is in Profile; sign out any device you do not recognise.
  • If your WhatsApp number changes hands, the account for that number goes with the number. Delete your account before giving up a number.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use TeRa.

What is not allowed

You agree not to:

  • try to sign in to someone else’s account or interfere with another user’s sign-in;
  • access the service other than through the official app or the API we provide, or disrupt or unreasonably burden the service;
  • use TeRa for anything unlawful.

Messages from businesses

  • The content of a message, including attachments and links, comes from the sending business and is its responsibility. We do not verify what messages say.
  • Links and attachments may lead to sites or files outside TeRa. Open them only if you know the sender.
  • A message can disappear from the inbox when it expires or is withdrawn by its sender.
  • If you receive a message from a business you do not know, tell us.

Notifications

If you allow it, TeRa sends a notification when a new message arrives and when your account is signed in on another device. You can withdraw that permission at any time in your phone’s settings; messages still reach the inbox.

Availability

We work to keep TeRa running but do not guarantee that it is always available or free of interruption. Delivery of messages and notifications depends on networks, your phone and other parties’ services such as WhatsApp and Google, and may be late or fail. Do not rely on TeRa as the only channel for anything urgent.

We may change, add or end features. If the service is discontinued altogether, we give notice beforehand.

Rights in the app

The TeRa app, its name, logo and appearance belong to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app under these Terms.

Ending use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account from Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or endangers other users or the service.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, TeRa is provided as it is. We are not liable for the content of messages from businesses, for dealings between you and those businesses, or for indirect loss arising from the use of TeRa or the inability to use it. Nothing here limits rights that by law cannot be set aside.

Personal data

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Meaningful changes are announced through the app or this page before they take effect. Continuing to use TeRa after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first settled amicably; failing that, by the competent courts in Indonesia.
